Despite its proximity to St. Petersburg, Kronstadt is a completely unique city with its own history and culture. The compact historical center of Kronstadt is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and includes several parks, more than 20 monuments, the Kronstadt footstock - the starting point for all depths and heights in Russia and other countries, and, of course, the St. Nicholas Naval Cathedral - the main temple of the Russian Navy and the largest naval cathedral in Russia.
